Attracting visitors with a competitive edge
LogiMAT 2026 trade show appearance a huge success for Melkus Mechatronic: Numerous visitors turned up to learn how Melkus Mechatronic’s automated guided vehicles (AGV) can help bridge existing gaps in automation. This year’s LogiMAT was hugely successful for Melkus Mechatronic. The keen interest shown also serves as a positive stimulus and driving force for continuous product development.
Goeming/Salzburg, 26.03.2026 – Presenting a host of innovations, Melkus Mechatronic positioned itself as a future-oriented AGV manufacturer at LogiMAT, the leading logistics trade show. At the Stuttgart Trade show centre, visitors experienced several members of the Melkus vehicle family in action. A driverless Melkus HLG130 forklift moved a pallet full of beer crates between two stations, while a Melkus BLS4060 Rack Stacker alternately transported and stored stacks of circuit boards and Euro boxes, all within a very confined space
Greater efficiency, a longer service life and greater modularity
The successful Melkus G130 pallet AGV impressed in its updated version, the G130 3.0, with a number of technical innovations: its ability to travel quickly in any direction while ensuring uncompromised safety delivers a significant boost in efficiency by eliminating the need for many often time-consuming manoeuvres.
This is equally true for the optimised charging concept. Melkus Mechatronic has opted for a high-capacity battery system, powered via contactless fast-charging stations that are standardised for all future Melkus AGVs. This gives the Melkus G130 3.0 a uniquely long operating time of up to eight hours without charging breaks. This means that Melkus AGVs can in many cases work through an entire shift without interruption.
By physically separating the drive module from the load carrier, Melkus Mechatronic is consistently applying the modular concept of its AGVs. In applications requiring different load carriers to carry out transport tasks, this can in various ways minimise investment costs and capital tied up.
Innovations strike a chord with the industry
“The automation of intralogistics processes is a real crowd-puller and has once again brought us a record number of meaningful discussions this year,” says Martin Lindner, Managing Director of Melkus Mechatronic GmbH, giving a very positive assessment of the trade fair. “With the innovations we showcased in the vehicle sector, we have clearly struck a chord with the industry.”
“At the same time, we received valuable feedback,” adds David Barth, Head of Design and Development at Melkus Mechatronic GmbH. “We will use these ideas to present further groundbreaking innovations at next year’s LogiMAT, which will bring additional efficiency benefits to users of our AGVs.”

Following a high number of productive discussions at the LogiMAT stand, Melkus Mechatronic gave a positive assessment of its participation in Stuttgart’s leading logistics trade fair.

The Melkus G130 3.0 pallet AGV, which has been completely redesigned with numerous innovations, the Melkus HLG130 driverless forklift and the Melkus BLS4060 rack stacker attracted a great deal of interest from visitors to the trade fair.

Martin Lindner, Melkus Mechatronic CEO: “The automation of intralogistics processes is a major draw for trade show visitors, and with the innovations on display, we definitely managed to strike a chord with the industry.”
